๐Ÿ“ˆ Want Bigger Results? Change the Room You're Sitting In ๐Ÿ’ก

Hey Reader,

Have you ever noticed how one conversation can completely change your direction?

Not a book.

Not a podcast.

Not another YouTube video.

Just one conversation with the right person at the right time.

When I look back at some of the biggest shifts in my business and my life, they almost always started with a relationship.

Someone challenged the way I was thinking.

Someone asked a question I'd never considered.

Someone believed in me before I fully believed in myself.

โ€‹That's why this episode of The Happy Hustle Podcast really fired me up.โ€‹

I sat down with my buddy Eric Berman, serial entrepreneur, founder of Speakeasy Mastermind, and one of the best community builders I've ever met.

Eric has spent decades creating rooms where entrepreneurs don't just exchange business cards.

They change each other's lives.

One thing he said really stuck with me.

He calls it the Isolation Tax.

It's the hidden cost entrepreneurs pay when they try to build everything alone.

And honestly...

I think we've all paid it at some point.

We convince ourselves we're saving money.

Saving time.

Doing it ourselves.

Meanwhile, we're missing opportunities, relationships, ideas, and partnerships that could have changed everything.

Another takeaway I loved was this.

Not everyone belongs in your room.

That might sound harsh, but it's true.

The best communities aren't built by trying to please everyone.

They're built by being crystal clear about who they're for.

When you surround yourself with people who challenge you, encourage you, and genuinely want to see you win...

You grow faster.

Not because they're giving you all the answers.

Because they're helping you ask better questions.

Eric also shared something I think every entrepreneur needs to hear.

Don't spend your life chasing opportunities that don't fit who you are.

Pay attention to what energizes you.

What comes naturally.

What people consistently seek you out for.

That's usually where your greatest impact lives.

And maybe my favorite reminder from the whole conversation...

You are responsible.

Not your circumstances.

Not the economy.

Not your competitors.

You.

That mindset is both humbling and incredibly freeing.

Because if you're responsible...

You also have the power to change your future.

This episode reminded me that success isn't just about what you know.

It's about who you learn from, who you grow with, and who you're becoming along the way.

If you've been feeling stuck...

If you've been building your business mostly on your own...

Or if you're ready to get into better rooms with better people...

I think this conversation is going to resonate with you.

Hey Reader, When was the last time you finished an entire book? Not a blog post. Not a reel. Not a 30-second TikTok. A real, cover-to-cover book. If you're struggling to remember... You're definitely not alone. I caught myself the other day instinctively reaching for my phone while waiting in line for coffee. Thirty seconds. That's all it took before my brain wanted another hit of information. Sound familiar? We live in a world that's constantly competing for our attention. Every...

Hey Reader, Let me be straight up. This alignment isn't about religion. I don't care what you believe in specifically. What I do care about? That you have faith in something bigger than yourself. Could be God. Could be the universe. Could be a higher power you don't even have a name for yet. What matters is that you have some kind of inner life. A practice that grounds you when everything around you is spinning. I've been practicing Daoist healing arts since I was a kid. My mom introduced me...

Hey Reader, When was the last time you spent money on something you'll barely remember... But passed on an experience you'll never forget? I think we've all done it. A new gadget. Another subscription. Something that felt exciting for about a week... And now it's sitting in a drawer collecting dust. But ask me about hiking through Glacier National Park with fellow entrepreneurs... Watching my kids laugh around a campfire... Or taking an adventure with the people I love most... I can tell you...
