๐Ÿ“ต The 3-Day Reset Every Entrepreneur Needs (But Almost Nobody Takes) ๐ŸŒฟ

Hey Reader,

When was the last time you went a full day without looking at your phone?

Not airplane mode.

Not "I'm only checking email."

I mean... completely off.

If you're anything like me, you probably reached for your phone this morning before your feet even hit the floor.

That's exactly what I'm talking about in this episode of The Happy Hustle Podcast.โ€‹

I dive into what I call The Three-Day Effect, why just 72 hours in nature can reset your brain, sharpen your thinking, boost your creativity, and help you reconnect with what actually matters. It's backed by science, but it's also something I've witnessed firsthand with dozens of entrepreneurs.

I've spent years taking entrepreneurs into the Montana wilderness, and I've noticed something that happens almost every single time.

Day one is rough.

Everyone keeps reaching for a phone that's not there. You can almost feel the nervous system fighting the silence.

Day two gets interesting.

People slow down.

They start noticing things they haven't paid attention to in years.

The smell of pine trees.

The sound of a river.

Conversations that aren't interrupted every few minutes.

Then day three arrives...

And something shifts.

The stress starts melting away.

Business problems that felt impossible suddenly seem obvious.

Creative ideas start flowing.

People laugh more.

Sleep better.

Think clearer.

It's what I call the Three-Day Effect.

And here's the cool part...

Researchers at the University of Utah found that spending multiple days immersed in nature improved creative problem-solving by 47%.

Think about that for a second.

We spend thousands of dollars trying to become more productive.

Sometimes what our brain really needs is less noise.

Not another app.

Not another course.

Just space.

One thing I share in this episode challenged me, and it might challenge you too.

If you can't step away from your business for 72 hours, you might not own a business. You might own a job that owns you.

That realization changed how I think about entrepreneurship.

Because building a business should create freedom.

Not steal it.

The good news is you don't have to disappear into the Montana backcountry to experience this.

Find a trail.

Go camping.

Leave your phone behind for a day.

Journal.

Sit around a fire.

Take a long walk with someone you love.

Give your mind the space it's been craving.

You might be surprised by what comes back.

If you've been feeling overwhelmed, distracted, or like your creativity has been running on empty...

This episode will really serve you.

Hey Reader, When was the last time you finished an entire book? Not a blog post. Not a reel. Not a 30-second TikTok. A real, cover-to-cover book. If you're struggling to remember... You're definitely not alone. I caught myself the other day instinctively reaching for my phone while waiting in line for coffee. Thirty seconds. That's all it took before my brain wanted another hit of information. Sound familiar? We live in a world that's constantly competing for our attention. Every...

Hey Reader, Let me be straight up. This alignment isn't about religion. I don't care what you believe in specifically. What I do care about? That you have faith in something bigger than yourself. Could be God. Could be the universe. Could be a higher power you don't even have a name for yet. What matters is that you have some kind of inner life. A practice that grounds you when everything around you is spinning. I've been practicing Daoist healing arts since I was a kid. My mom introduced me...

Hey Reader, When was the last time you spent money on something you'll barely remember... But passed on an experience you'll never forget? I think we've all done it. A new gadget. Another subscription. Something that felt exciting for about a week... And now it's sitting in a drawer collecting dust. But ask me about hiking through Glacier National Park with fellow entrepreneurs... Watching my kids laugh around a campfire... Or taking an adventure with the people I love most... I can tell you...
